"From 2018-2021 we went from 0 to a current net worth of $3M and controlling over $10M in assets. Our journey started the Monday after the 3 day workshop, where we learned how to analyze Cash Flow. On Monday we refinanced our primary residence and purchased our first true rental property; A 2 unit home we purchased for $585K that cash flowed over $1500 per month. From there we truly did not know how to attract private money, so we decided to go the path of working partner and spent over 3 months immersing in Keyspire education, podcasts and reading books. From there it still took us almost 6 months to get our first money partner and we quickly purchased two properties with 2 separate Keyspire money partners. The second of which was introduced to us by our coach.
Moving forward we saw our market shift and decided building purpose built rentals was the way to go, so in 2019/2020 under the mentorship of a contractor I (Kris) completely managed and was hands in the construction of 3 homes. The first we built to flip, using my (Kris) Navy pension that I decided to cash out. I (Kris) doubled my pension cash out amount in 6 months. The 2nd and 3rd builds were purpose built rentals that under the guidance of our coach we figured out how to fund and hold fully by our selves using commercial financing. Total purchase/build cost was $1M and they were appraised at $1.5M, allowing us to take all of our money out and still get $1000 per month CF.
Phew.. sorry for the long story, but what a couple of years.... moving forward it's all about developments. Currently we have 56 homes on the books to build... and we just partnered with 3 other Keyspire members and have an accepted offer on a piece of land zoned for 120 townhomes and a multi-use commercial piece... look out Keyspire!!!"
Prior to joining Keyspire Kris was 21 years into his career in the Royal Canadian Navy and Sari was a director of 12 group homes for adults with mental disabilities. Since 2018, Sari has left her career and has become an investor focused realtor who transacted over $20M in real estate in 2020 ( in just her 2nd year as a realtor!). Kris left the navy in 2019 to become a full time real estate investor and has begun to focus on land development, has created his own development company and has become a licensed contractor/developer. Kris & Sari's latest project is a 44 lot subdivision funded almost solely by Keyspire private lenders.

"We immigrated to Canada in 2009 and bought our first house in 2010. Our son was born 2 years later and we were planning for his educational needs as well as our future retirement. Colin and Nicole share how their real estate journey started with Keyspire

Before Keyspire, I had owned a condo in Montreal which I sold and purchased a triplex with a friend of mine. A year later we sold and moved to Vancouver and rented (2013). We had RRSPs, owned no real estate and working 9-5. We were living the life that everyone, including ourselves, expect: go to school, get a job in that field, work until you are 60, retire with a home and no mortgage. There is nothing wrong with that life, but we wanted more. We joined Keyspire in 2016 and realized the potential growth we could achieve with our RRSPs through passive investing. We moved all our RRSP's into self-directed accounts and invested with Greybrook, Profunds, Equiton and Private Lending to other Keyspire members.
We spoke to so many other Keyspire members, shared what we knew and helped them understand concepts we learned and helped them setup accounts with Trust Companies. It felt good to be able to help others and we found passion and purpose that was missing from our lives. We became selfless and gave so much of our time to others. What we were doing felt right and was making a positive impact in the those we spoke to. Keyspire changed the trajectory of our lives and those lives we have touched. We are forever grateful for the knowledge, friendships and community that Keyspire provided.

The role Keyspire had in Colin and Nicole's success:

"Before Keyspire, we did not know much about real estate. We were limited to thinking that you had to buy properties in driving distance, find tenants yourself, property manage them yourself, them and then eventually sell for a profit. The 3 day weekend workshop opened our eyes to all the different investment streams that we never heard of. We trusted the knowledge, but still went home and googled everything Paul said during the workshop. We believed in Michael and Scott being authentic people and wanting to truly help others. The staff at the workshop spoke very passionately about Keyspire and their experiences. Everything was there for us to succeed, but it was up to us to make that big step for ourselves. At the end of the 3 day workshop we joined and actively participated in everything Keyspire offered.

"Every transaction, had it's hurtles that we needed to overcome. Our first real estate transaction was a purchase in Ontario. We lived in Vancouver at the time, and never visited the city, let alone the the property before we purchased. This was before Zoom and Facetime
were mainstream, so we had to rely on building a strong team. Keyspire thought us that having the right team was the foundation of a successful transaction and required if you wanted to invest where returns are best. Since then, the community has been our go to when things get tough. Tannis & Michael share their story on joining Keyspire: 

"I came across an advertisement for Keyspire and signed up to see Scott McGillivray for his 2 hours information session! It was amazing and we were beaming with excitement the whole way home! We were non committal to the 3 day workshop due to the financial
aspect at the time but thought, next time for sure!
After a few days went by, I couldn't get the workshop out of my head and I put together some savings, called Keyspire and purchased 2 tickets to the 3 day workshop in Vancouver and surprised Michael with the tickets that night!
The workshop was in May 2018 with Paul Hecht and it was PHENOMENAL. At the end of the workshop we were presented with the opportunity to join the Keyspire membership. We watched as people ran to the tables to join and speak with Keyspire team members about their options. We watched as people came back to their seats ecstatic with their membership purchases, holding their shiny member folders. Michael disappeared and was gone for what felt like eternity as I sat alone in my seat watching other people committing to their futures.
He came back and said, "Let's go sign up Tan". I remember being shocked and excited all at once - he had savings that he decided were well worth using for our real estate future together!
BEST DECISION EVER.
Fast forward to a year later and we decided to move in together into Michael's place in White Rock BC. Michael had just started his own construction company and I was finishing the final semester for my University Degree Program. As we were moving in together, Michael had a great idea do a quick upgrade to the tiny home and flip it, which we did. We put about $1500 into some minor upgrades and sold it for a profit of $10,000. This was our first "mini" real estate project together. Pumped up by the sale of the tiny home and looking for our next project we searched and determined that the only thing we could "buy" in BC was a trailer in a local trailer park.  This brought us to the next phase of our story where we attended a Keyspire Mastery 90 event in Vancouver and met a local Keyspire member. This gentleman invited us to his local meetup group on  the first Wednesday of each month, to which we attended.

"We now have 3 properties: 4 plex on our own, 3 plex - we are JV (Joint Venture) working partners, 13 unit building - we are JV (Joint Venture) money partner. Total of 20 doors . Plus a land development and private lending deal where we put our RRSPs (RSAs) to work.
We joined in March 2019. We oversee the renovations and do the property management so I would say we spend a significant amount of time but it's hard because we still have our full time jobs.
But now that we've completed the 4 plex and brought in new tenants that we have screened. Not much time at all. Maybe 2 hours a week. So far cash flow has increased by $34k per year."

Beverly & Marty talk about where they were prior to joining Keyspire and what they have achieved since 

"When we first came to Keyspire, we already had one rental house. We were working full time, trying to pay down debt and save for future university tuition for our young daughter. (My eldest was already established - Marty). We were seriously discouraged with our rental and were considering selling it. We had not selected tenants well and had a mess on our hands. My wife heard about the masterclass and on a whim, registered us.  I remember telling my wife, "We’re not buying anything! "Two hours later we signed up for the workshop! We went on to the summit later that year.
Not only did we keep our rental, we bought 4 more in 5 months including two in a JV. We moved our RRSPs to passive real estate opportunities and eventually bought into 7 different projects both in Ontario and as far as Florida.
So how have we done? Well, we finally did sell that first rental for a 300,000 profit. Our ROI. Infinite, because we already flipped to ourselves and had all our investment back. Realistically we turned a 24 k reno expense into 300 k on one property alone over 9 years (272 profit and 125% per year,). The other four we bought? We turned 217 k in down-payments into 993 k So 775 of that is profit. (71%
annual ROI). We have an HYOT that pays us 1300 a month at 10% .The RRSP investments are about to mature ranging between 30 and 40%.
All in all we have increased our net worth by 1 million in almost exactly 5 years. Our younger daughter has long since graduated and bought her own rental. We owe Michael and Scott so much. We recommend Keyspire to anyone who’ll listen and even crashed a few  masterclasses back when we could, just to stand up and share our story. We hope to do so again soon. Here’s hoping we can all gather at another summit soon, I know we will be there."
